E hoʻomākaukau kākou! The first ever Kanaka Writers Conference is coming this Fall. Limited spots are available, so get your Early Bird tickets starting on August 8, 2026. You may reserve your spot ahead of time, or simply inquire for more information via castinglegends@moolelomodern.com.
There will also be a Scholarship Contest which opens August 18 and runs through September 8. Each application must include one of the following:

An original screenplay for short films, feature films, and limted/TV series pilots

An original stage play
-
A book sample manuscript
-
A collection of at least five poems
Winners will receive full conference tuition, in addition to a mentorship from our of our local industry partners.
